What a phenomenal experience. The staff are so polite, and helpful, and oh my gosh, the food was incredible! Travelled 2500 miles the last 3 months and this was by far the most enjoyable food experience of the trip. Thank you to everyone at The nook at Risby, we shall we back in future!!

What a pleasant surprise. At first, we realised that the little place here had changed hands and had a refurb. Having loved it before, we were a little wary but we needn't have worried. The tea was nice and the panini was delicious and served with a salad garnish and coleslaw, all very nice. I'd no room left for even the smallest of cakes, not that they do 'small' cake, so next time I will try the cake. A very nice selection, nice, friendly staff and a nice environment. Well done guys, we'll be back

My partner and I went today, 17th of April for afternoon tea. We got a fabulous welcome and the food was amazing, fresh sandwiches, lovely sausage rolls, the biggest scone I have ever seen, great cakes and as much tea as you can drink! If you want a great afternoon tea at a friendly establishment then The Nook is the perfect place. We will be back, thank you Maria and family.

We visited The Nook for some lunch after looking round the antiques shops, and it's safe to say we'll be back. The staff are extremely friendly and chatty, the food is really tasty, and the whole place has a warm, tidy & cozy atmosphere. I'd highly recommend the festive toastie, and my partner (who has a gluten intolerance) was very happy to find out they had loads of GF alternatives! He had a cheese toastie and a slice of millionaire's shortbread, both gluten free, and both delicious. They also very kindly spoiled our pup with treats, so that makes 3 happy customers! I'd highly recommend dropping by if you're in the area, you'll be made to feel very welcome.

Just had an amazing full English breakfast at the Nook. Staff were excellent, friendly and service was quick. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was awesome, excellent quality Sausages, no cheap frozen rubbish. Lightly smoked thick back bacon and free range eggs. Everything cooked to perfection, and the coffee was exceptional. Highly recommend the Nook at Risby.

I had a delicious ‘proper’ homemade ploughman’s - ham, pork pie, pickle, pickled onions, selection of cheeses, bread and salad - I would have taken a photo but I couldn’t wait to get stuck in. As always food was first rate as was service where Daryl, Maria and Julie make you feel very welcome.
